New College Durham
Services Included: Drone Videography | FPV | Hire a Drone Operator
We assisted a 2-day shoot at New College Durham alongside a camera crew to create a promotional video for their enrolment. We provided the specialty drone work while the video production company took care of the ground filming and editing.
INDIVIDUAL DRONE VIDEOS
Providing 4K Video Content For the Production Company
Our role within this project was to capture high-quality, engaging raw drone content for the video production team to take away and add to their final video. Here are just a few of around 30 clips captured over 2 days.
FPV VIDEO WITH SOUND EFFECTS
Capturing the essence of this fast-paced learning environment.
FPV was an excellent tool to use within the college due to the space and scale of the main structure as well as the individual workshop spaces. We added some sound effects to the compiled video of FPV shots captured on the day to best portray the hustle and bustle of this lively college. FPV shots were also utilised in the final video.
FINAL PROMO VIDEO
Edited by SuperKrush Films.
The final promotional video, edited and produced by SuperKrush Films. Being a part of this shoot as a freelance drone operator for their production team was a pleasure.

I booked a half days Drone training with Dan from Drone Studio North East Ltd. Never having used any type of drone or simulator before I was initially nervous. Dan put me at ease and we started the training session, Dan covered all aspects from taking the drone out of the box, carrying out safety checks before going through the controls. Once complete the flying started, it’s amazing what you can learn in such a short session. If you’re thinking about drone training you won’t be disappointed by booking Dan

We asked the team at Drone Studio North East to help us market the launch our new Nursery in Newcastle. Dan was very helpful and made some really positive suggestions which we incorporated.
On the day of filming Dan made sure he knew exactly what we were after and at no point was time against us. He spent all the time we needed with us until we got exactly what we wanted.
Within a few days after his visit Dan sent through a draft video which also included some graphics and music and we were very pleased with the result. Overall a great product at a very reasonable price.
We highly recommend Drone Studio North East for any projects.

Dan was an absolute professional (really nice guy too), offering plenty of advice on how to optimise the online presence of the property through the incredible footage gathered using his drone. The amount of image and video content and its quality was more than I could have anticipated. Dan had plenty of suggestions for the future also and we look forward to working with him again. We are already seeing the benefits from his work from an increased numbers of views and conversions to bookings.
