Hire a Professional Drone Operator in Sunderland
Capture Incredible Aerial Photos and Videos for Your Next Event or Project with Drone Studio North East
How Drone Studio North East Works
STEP 1: Hire Your Drone Operator
You are in the right place already to hire a CAA approved, fully insured drone pilot specially trained for all types of commercial operations – from a few photos of your project or property to a full-blown promotional video for your business.
STEP 2: Plan Your Shoot
We have a detailed discussion to understand your exact requirements, be it aerial photography for estate agents, videography services for event coverage, or drone filming for a construction project.
STEP 3: Day of the Shoot
We choose a day that suits us both. I do the flying and capturing all of the photos and videos required as well as taking care of all of the legal stuff. You do the relaxing.
STEP 4: Professional Editing
I take the content away, apply a few edits, crops, transitions and touch-ups and deliver the final product in whatever format you like. Either a file transfer or on a USB stick.

Frequently Asked Questions
Contact me directly through this website to discuss and schedule your next drone project. I offer both aerial photography and videography services.
I have experience working across a number of different industries so you can be sure that the best services are provided. Whether you want me to follow your script exactly or are happy to give a bit more creative freedom, I always work to your preferences and vision for the work. I guarantee a smooth experience from start to finish, always hoping to exceed expectations with the results.
I offer everything from very basic footage to more extensive production projects. If it is just a few photos you need or a full 2-minute promo video with music, edits, transitions, motion graphics for your business or project, I do both and more.
With plenty of flying experience, video-editing courses completed and countless hours of trial and error to perfect all aspects of flying, filming and editing, I am proud to offer services for almost any type of aerial photography or videography project.
Yes, I carry full commercial insurance for all projects and always operate within the CAA’s (Civil Aviation Authority) guidelines. From initial risk assessments to contingency planning to flight logs, I take care of all of the safety and legal stuff so you don’t have to. This is a huge bonus, as many amateur drone operators accidentally operate illegally due to not being fully briefed and aware of all of the up-to-date drone laws.
Yes, my coverage extends across the entire North East of England, including places like Newcastle, Northumberland, County Durham, Hexham, Corbridge and of course, Sunderland. To discuss any potential projects, please contact me directly first though.
All of my work always includes editing within the price. As exceptional as the 4K-capable drones that I operate are, the photos and videos always look better cropped to size and colour-graded to make them really stand out. A lot of companies add editing on as a sneaky extra; it is always included in my services.
Almost any site! I have worked on projects that involve flying over construction sites, historic landmarks, houses for estate agents, castles, rural land, city centre points of interest and many more to provide a unique perspective for my clients. As with all drone operators operating legally, the only place outside of my scope is anywhere within a 5km radius of an airport or airfield.
Of course you can do these things, but there is a lot more to consider than you might first think.
Any photography and videography with a commercial purpose legally requires the necessary insurance. Any drone operation – recreational or commercial – must comply with the CAA’s ever-changing rules including distances from people, weight of the drone, where you can/can’t take off, privacy risks and what should happen in the event of loss or damage. These are things you really don’t want to be liable for should you not be fully complicit yourself or if someone you hire isn’t – so why risk it? Let a professional take care of it and grant you full peace of mind that you’re in good hands – legal-wise and quality of final delivery-wise.
